PrincetonOne has been recognized as one of the top 10 contingency staffing firms in the United States and one of the top 25 firms globally. Although the recruitment firm has a winning history, its leaders recognized the lack of a clear vision and direction for the company. In order to achieve sustained success in the future, Princeton One needed to revisit and revision their strategic direction.
Creative Talent Strategy
Creative Metrics partnered with PrincetonOne to facilitate the formation of an enduring strategic business plan. Through this partnership, Creative Metrics conducted an internal and an external market analysis, along with facilitating a strategic planning session. Top priorities, key drivers and a differentiating competitive advantage were established to create a redefined vision and direction for PrincetonOne.

By taking part in Creative Metrics’ Market Assessment of Position (MAP), PrincetonOne discovered its strengths and weaknesses comparative to its competitors through open and closed-ended feedback provided by both customers and employees. A MAP Survey focused on the three main customer satisfaction drivers - product, service, and pricing. The survey data was presented in a straightforward research report; analyzing market trends and illustrating gaps between customer and employee feedback.

An internal cultural audit was then performed to measure PrincetonOne’s values, beliefs and norms. Based on predetermined company values and beliefs, both leaders and employees completed a Values Survey regarding real behaviors at PrincetonOne. The extent in which company values were manifested through behaviors was highlighted in an easy to interpret Values Report. The report allowed leaders to view the actions that were contributing to performance, as well as hindering results, as a first step to positive change.

Subsequently, Creative Metrics facilitated an all day strategic planning session where PrincetonOne’s employees and senior leaders collectively defined the company’s competitive position and redefined its strategic direction. In the course of this engagement, six initiatives were formed to support the fulfillment of the new vision, "we enhance careers and company performance". These key drivers include: new and improved rewards programs, customer delivery methods, development metrics, service practices, marketing initiatives and customer approach.
