capitalize on the rising demand for elderly care and remain America’s top nursing home provider.
Creative Talent Strategy
Beverly selected Creative Metrics to quickly and cost-effectively identify and develop employees to fill key leadership roles within its talent pipeline. Creative Metrics efficiently evaluated Beverly’s entire workforce with its Assessment of Talent, a unique metrics that quantifies an individual’s work related performance, potential, risk, and willingness to develop. Each employee and their direct manager received a secure link to complete the 15 minute, online assessment regarding overall employee effectiveness and capacity for growth. Creative Metrics channeled the collected data into ranking charts for side-by-side employee comparisons based on both performance and potential.Collaborative leadership meetings were held to facilitate leadership support and buy-in into the succession planning process. Leaders discussed assessment scores and adjusted employee positions within 9-box diagrams, according to first-hand knowledge and experience. The result was a data-driven and management supported profile of the right talent to assess further, remain in their present role, re-assign, and let go.
Those individuals chosen for further consideration participated in Creative Metrics’ Experience Assessment, an in-depth evaluation that gauges past experiences to predict future success. Creative Metrics tailored the content of the Experience Assessment to include the formal and informal occurrences critical for effectiveness within Beverly’s specific leadership roles. Based on experience reports, individuals were assigned specific development activities. Targeted candidates took part in a mix of personal development activities to obtain the skills, insights and experiences necessary for effective advancement.
